Guidance materials for new Global Fund proposals

APMG is working with UNAIDS to prepare an easy-to-use guide to the new funding mechanisms for Global Fund. The Global Fund is in the process of revising its funding arrangements and this guide will help countries to find their way through the new processes. We have also been working with UNAIDS on a iTool to help countries build their investment case for HIV funding.

Extension of Tingim Laip Project

AusAID has extended the contract for the Tingim Laip Project in PNG for a further 2 1/2 years. Managed by Cardno Emerging Markets, Tingim Laip works with the key HIV affected populations in Papua New Guinea to increase access to prevention and testing programs and services and to improve HIV care. APMG provides technical direction for the project and manages the short-term adviser pool. More

APMG appoints North America Regional Coordinator

Danielle Parsons, formerly HIV Coordinator for the Quality Health care Project in Central Asia, has been appointed APMG Regional Coordinator for North America. Danielle will continue to provide technical assistance to the Quality Project and will be APMG’s primary liaison person with USAID and other North American agencies. More
